Farmers District Manager Ads

Here is an example of Farmers Insurance District Manager advertising taken from Craigslist.org Our comments of course are in RED:

We are aggressively expanding our market share through a professionally trained agency force. You can go through our training program part-time while keeping your regular job.

(They are not kidding that they are expanding. Farmers has more agents per policy than any company in existence! This is not good from an agent standpoint. As a new agent you will be forced to compete with an agent on every corner. So the entire market is saturated already with Farmers Insurance Agents. Keep your regular job? This is a lie, once you leave the reserve agent program you will be forced to go full time)

I am in the process of recruiting talented individuals who are interested in BEING THEIR OWN BOSS, CREATING THEIR OWN JOB SECURITY,and MAKING AS MUCH INCOME as they want to fulfill their dreams! As a Farmers Insurance Professional, we will train you to help your customers by conducting needs analysis and putting together the right insurance and financial solutions package for them.

(Another outright lie. The Farmers Insurance Agent opportunity offers you no security whatsoever if you are to be ousted from your contract. You also have no ownership of your book of business. No other insurance company offers a crippled agent program like Farmers Insurance Agents get)

Desired qualities:

*Entrepreneurial (fluff)
*Self-Motivated (fluff)
*Confident (fluff)
*Team Player (common term every employer puts)
*Persuasive (here is a valid point! You must be extremely persuasive to get people you dont even know to buy the life insurance that Farmers Insurance is going to try and get you to sell. The Farmers Life Product absolutely sucks!)

This is a great opportunity for both men and women, regardless of ethnicity. Whether you're in Real Estate, Mortgage / Loans Industry, Financial Services, the Food Industry, or any other background, anyone who meets the following criteria is strongly encouraged to apply: (Notice they dont encourage previous insurance experience? That is because previous insurance agents will spot the Farmers Agent program as being extremely unfair. Its also a Multi Level Marketing Scheme)

*U.S. citizen or permanent Visa
*No criminal convictions (traffic citations OK)
*No bankruptcies in the last three years
*Good Credit
*Current driver’s license

(these are all because you must submit a U4 and pass a series 6 and 63 exam)
