If a person interested in being an agent were to ask you what you think about this DM, what would you say?

Business Philosophy

"The Best Opportunity in America

If you want to own your own business, represent one of the largest insurance groups in America, if you have the discipline and determination to learn and build a lucrative career, please contact me. I will work with you to develop the business skills and expertise you need to grow your agency and succeed. While you'll be in business for yourself, I'll be there to guide and motivate you so you can achieve your goals." - quoted from farmersagent.com

Comments (What others think about this DM):

4-20-08 - This DM considers blood thicker than water! He brought his brother on board to become an agent and then gives every walk in or orphaned policy from failed reserve and retiring agent to him. His brother now has a book of business that is huge and all the other poor fools that started way before he did are still struggling to build a book of clients by their own hard work. All the agents have to service their own clients, input their own policies, but this DM makes sure all his brother has to do is collect the check for all the policies that have been GIVEN to him, and makes sure that there is someone in place to do all the work FOR his brother. Makes for some very hard feelings from the rest of the reserve and career agents that are in the office that have to do everything for themselves. This is without a doubt the most unethical, ignorant, self-centered, worthless DM the company has ever hired. Farmers has lost all credibility with most of the professionals in town.

2-20-08 - Why are you interested in being an agent in this district? The DM is giving all of the orphan policies to his brother and building his agency off the backs of every reserve agent who fails, and there have been plenty. Oh, he will promise you the moon and then deliver a cabbage. Run why still have a chance.

7-27-2007 - This is the most unethical person I have ever met. He lies to everyone and is teaching his new recruits that every agent in the district is fair game for poaching. He is an established embarassment with in our community, most organizations will not let him join due to his boorish behavior. The company is aware of all of this but continues to support him, hopefully not for long!

8-16-2007 - He Sucks

8-24-07 - This DM is a disgrace to the community. He boosts his "numbers" by lying to get new agents on board. Farmers should be ashamed for turning this individual loose on the community as a representative of the company. This DM is causing Farmers to loose credibility in the area. Most deffinately NOT an example to model new agents after!

8-24-07 - Stay completely away from this unethical DM!

8-28-07 - This Guy has all the personality traits of a sociopath. Be afraid! Don't believe a single word he says. Should be run out of town on a rail.

9-05-07 - This DM should be run out of the community on a rail!

9-17-07 - Hey back off this guy! He represents his company and they put him their. The community can hate him all they want. He may be a flake, an embarassment, a poor role model to young agents, provide a loss of creditbility to his company, promote poaching and unethical behavior in order for his new agent to succeed. He can even derive his selfworth by a Porsch he drives and the 20 year old on each arm. But who cares what he states in the public , or how he represent the insurance industry as a whole. What's the big deal? The bottem line is he's making his numbers for his company and thats what really counts. Well, is'nt it?

10-12-07 - His numbers are phony. He cons people looking to work FOR an agent into signing a Reserve agent agreement. Some of them probably don't even know what they are signing. His numbers look good on paper, but those people will never be agents! They never intended to. Oh, yeah, it LOOKS like he's making the numbers, but they are phony. Too many people in the community are making complaints about his practices..but the company doesn't REALLY care about the clients, or their image any more. They don't care about ethics or their Agents
