Letter from a State Farm Agent: You guys are hilarious

Letter from an Agent:

It never ceases to amaze me how people who did not succeed with a company- turn and spend all this time and energy trashing it.... do you actually think people take this stuff seriously?? I am not even with the company- I work for a competitor, and the hilarity of it all is that you most likely would not have been successful with any company in our industry. Just another example of failed sales reps blaming someone other than themselves for not having the drive, discipline and dedication to get it done! The fact is; you would not succeed in ANY sales arena- back off the Farm Boyz... and look in the mirror.

Thanks for the comment. People should always of course look at themselves first when they fail, I'm in complete agreement with you on this. Read some more of the articles, they arent all about company bashing. No matter what product a sales rep would be selling they are always in the end selling a product. Insurance is a highly competitive product and is probably the most marketed product to every possible consumer in this country. When the product you sell has issues from all angles, it becomes an ethics concern to keep selling it if you know there is a better one out there to offer to people.
